Rustic Glam Valentine's Day Decor

It's coming you guys. The pictures of pretty flower arrangements and roses, new jewelry and photos of everyone dressed up for a night out with their significant others. Even if you hate it, it's coming. I've shared my love of Valentine's Day in the past, I don't know what it is, maybe I'm just a sucker for love. Or maybe it's the fact that I've always had a Valentine to spend the day with, or littles to make heart shaped pancakes with.

Yup, I've always loved Valentine's Day. And some of you probably hate me now. I understand;)

When it comes to decorating it's no secret that I'm a plain jane neutral kinda girl. You might see the occasional pop of blue here and there, but never anything dramatic.

Valentine's Day is a little different,I step a tiny bit outside my comfort zone and decorate with all the pretty little shiny things, red and pink hearts, glittery banners, white and gold mugs. And that's the fun thing about decorating, it's okay to step out of your typical element once in awhile and try something a little different.

This space is seriously always changing! Don't believe me? Check the past two months alone.

It's pretty safe to say, it's one of my favorites..right? So please forgive me if I post it.. like, a lot.

And since I get asked about it, like.. A lot! You can find this table HERE

It's so fun to switch up for the seasons and Holidays and probably one of my most favorite pieces, and one of the ONLY things I've purchased NEW.

So now that I've rambled enough I'm here to show you how to incorporate Valentine's Day into your every day decor! You don't have to spend a ton of money, lots of these goodies are from the Target One Spot (a dolla makes me holla! heyyy!) And just by throwing in some pretty glittery hearts in a dough bowl or lantern you already have, you can decorate for Valentine's Day! Don't believe me? Let me show ya!

The only things I bought new was the paper garland, pink wreath and tassel garland all from Target. I mean, obviously..

You don't have to go all out and paint your walls red or anything to celebrate the day, subtle touches can really make an impact in vignettes.

One of the things I absolutely LOVE decorating for the seasons it this tray! It's my fav (how many times have I said that in this post?) I always love switching out the mugs, but the basics stay, like my favorite little cow creamer;)

My best advice is just really- DON'T OVERDO IT.- Less really is more. I have to admit, I'm especially in love with the rustic vibe this year and I'm going to be sad when I have to take it all down, but it's all good because that just means spring is coming.

 And we can't wait!

So, now for the fun part. Do you decorate for Valentine's Day? Why or why not? Ya'll know I LOVE to hear from you! So drop me a comment below or message me on Instagram
