Farmhouse Style Christmas Tour- 2015 Recap

Hey friends! You might notice things are a little different around these parts! I sure hope you like the changes. I really put thought into this design and making it a little easier for you to be able to navigate around.

You guys it's November now, which means it's officially okay to talk about Christmas. At least for me. I know some of you feel differently about when it's okay to decorate for Christmas, some say now. And some wait until after Thanksgiving. Whenever you decide to decorate is okay.

As a blogger, I feel like we have to get a head start on these types of things, to hopefully encourage and inspire others when it comes to decorating. I don't know about you, but I think decorating for Christmas, while fun, can for sure be lots of work. I like to start sooner rather rather then later so I'm not stressing about deadlines and things like that. I really like a solid 2 months to enjoy the season and all of it's beauty. Just because you decorate for Christmas, doesn't mean you're forgetting about Thanksgiving.

I for one, love Thanksgiving! It's actually my favorite Holiday because there's no fluff, presents or candy. It's simply just about being thankful and being together and that is for sure a beautiful thing.

All that being said, earlier this week before I started decorating I took some time to check out some of my old Christmas posts and decor, and figured it would be fun to look back on some of the ones ya'll loved the most! I really love a good Farmhouse Style Christmas, don't you?!

This Rustic Hot Chocolate Station was inspired by all the buffalo check print at Target last year! I noticed they have similar selections this year which is awesome because this is for sure my favorite thing! I was aiming for a rustic ski lodge vibe.

What do you think?

In the living room I went with a white Christmas theme. I've always been drawn to classic Christmas colors though, the only time of year I actually like the color red;) Okay, so maybe it's not bad on Valentine's Day either.

I picked up most of the ornaments from {pier 1} but the tree was from Wal-Mart and it was under $200! Crazy considering I shopped for similar flocked trees and some were near the $500 and beyond! Crazy, right?

I really like getting creative with my vintage coke crate! Loved this display in the kitchen last year.
Pine Cones and EVERGREEN! Sensing a theme, here? Be prepared because things are pretty similar with a bit of a twist this year!

Into more of a White Christmas type of theme? Last year I didn't quite know which direction I wanted to go in so I played around with several different things, this winter wonderland set up was one of my favorites! I snagged this adorable flocked tree here! It's also so pretty lit up at night.

I'm obsessed with Christmas kitchen home tours for some reason! I guess for me, it really is the heart of the home. I loved this little vintage Santa on my favorite tray (you can get one here)- last year, it was my great grammas and I think it's just the sweetest thing! Anyone else remember those little ceramic trees from their childhoods?
I am honestly SO so excited to share my Christmas Home Tour with you! Post should start rolling out next week and I just want ya'll to pretend to be as excited as I am, okay? Okay!

Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the new blog design? I truly value your sweet comments and encouragement! They all mean so much to me! Feel free to chat with me on instagram or Facebook. You can also drop a comment below! I just LOVE hearing from you! XO
