Shop My Instagram Stories

Hey guys. HUGE confession that makes me feel like sort of a nerd. I suck at blogging and I'm not techy in any sense of the word. I suck so bad. But I wanted to put together a page for you guys real quick to show you all the goodies I share in my stories throughout the week, Sometimes I share tips, Sometimes I link a specific blog post, Sometimes I share a cute sweater or a candle from a new shop. And I wanted to have a landing page for all of that for you guys. So I thought I'd share in a quick blog post today before I switch it over to an actual landing page, right here on the blog. After the new year, it will get a full revamp and hopefully be a little more user friendly for you guys!

So today on Instagram stories I'll be sharing some quick cleaning tips that will be posted in this post at the end of the day, also some of my favorite must have finds from some awesome sales going on right now. Unless there is an actual link posted, feel free to scroll below for my favorite finds and goodies from stories!

How does that sound? I know some of you can't watch all of my stories every single day and I'm constantly sharing so much because I'm a rambler, that's what I do, I ramble. So I thought this would help some of you guys that want a quick catch up but don't have the time at the moment to watch my stories before they expire which is after 24 hours. Which I can totally relate to these days. Seriously, how and why is time going so darn fast?!

Hope you guys find this helpful & useful! I'll keep it updated!

Friday Favorites- Pillows & Mugs, Oh MY!

HOLY WOW. Talk about the season creeping up. I'm sitting here like, where did the whole month of December go, and then I start thinking, actually, WHERE DID THE WHOLE YEAR OF 2017 GO?! I swear the older I get the quicker the time flies. Especially with kids.

This week was pretty hectic, we had some family things going on that I had to deal with and it put a few things in perspective for me, this whole blogging/social media thing, as much as I love it, it's not my number one priority. It never will be. My number one priority will always be my family. No matter what. Sometimes that means putting things like blogging and social media on the back burner while I focus on my family. I love you guys so much and I'm so thankful that so many of you take time out of your busy days to come hang out with me for a few. I will always be thankful for you, and blogging will always be something fun I am blessed to do.

Anywho, thanks for listening to me ramble for a minute and get off course. That's something else I love about you guys. You don't judge my crazy. So for that, I thank you.

This week was full of goodies that I can't wait to share with you, even though if you follow me over on Instagram, you've probably seen some of these goodies before.

A sweet friend sent me the cutest little stir sticks! She had heard about my little problem back in the beginning of the season & not being able to find stir sticks. I found the cutest little tree stick stirrers last year at Target Dollar Spot but didn't have luck this year. I was so bummed, but then these came and they're even cuter so, all is right with the world!

Ya'll know how I am with my mugs & my coffee goodies. I'll always stand behind my obsession by saying, it's truly the little things. As mama's I think we ALL can relate to that. HA!

I got the most amazing home decor box from Finishing Touches, it came with so many goodies and everything you need to put together cute spaces in your home. I got the 'Warm & Cozy" box which includes a cozy blanket, yummy throw pillows, mugs, candles and SO MUCH MORE! They even have one that includes everything you need to decorate your bathroom. I love this idea and think you will too. I couldn't help thinking that it would make such an AH-MAY-ZING gift! I was so excited when they offered all of you babes a DISCOUNT CODE! Yep, use code SNUGGLE17 for 15 off% any order! It's not too late to get those Christmas orders in, friends!

Max was super excited about our "Warm & Cozy" space too!

I got some yummy new pillow covers from @withlavenderandgrace on Instagram & OH MY GOODNESS! These pillows are so awesome! I love that they're soft & "karate choppable" because that's a thing, right? And ya'll know I don't do pillows in my house that aren't super fluffy & soft. You can check them out here! She sells inserts too and they're perfect! I also love these inserts from Amazon, here
The cute tray is from a sweet friend of mine, @therustedpig on Instagram! And you should totally check her out. She makes the cutest trays and makes custom orders so she'll hook ya up with anything you want!

I'm also burning this White Pine candle NON-STOP from Antique Candle Works! Use code "glamfarmhouse" for 20% off any order!

We've been getting a lot of snow this week here in Maryland, it's snowed three times and I'm not mad about it. I love the snow this time of year! I finally invested in a comfy pair of snow boots and am obsessed with these! I'll link them in the scroll box below! They're super comfy, true to size and keep your feet nice & toasty. Because I can be sort of bitchy when my feet are cold. I mean, isn't everyone?!

and just in case you're still searching for some last minute gifts? Ya'll need to snag one (or ten!) of these super cute mugs. Because, MERRY CHRISTMAS YA FILTHY ANIMAL. ;)

Last but not least, I never thought I'd see the day where I got excited about a trash can ya'll but seriously! I'm loving this one I got from Simple Human, and I'm pretty much obsessed. Things are coming along in the game room, slowly but surely. 2018 is sure to be full of BIG projects. After the game room is finished and decorated I'd love to start tackling the bathroom. But, baby steps, right? If you wanna snag any of the goodies from Simple Human, I managed to get a discount code JUST FOR YOU!

Use code FARMHOUSE15 for 15% off ANY ORDER! Pretty awesome, right?!

I hope ya'll have a super snuggly & cozy weekend doing whatever it is you love to do!

Thank you so much for stopping by to hang out today!
XOXO

5 quick & easy ways to decorate your kitchen for Christmas!

{post may contain affiliate links, thank you so so much for making this little blog possible.}

Hey friends! So excited you decided to stop over and hang out for a bit today! Christmas is creeping up on us pretty quickly my friends! Thankfully, it seems like a lot of us got a head start. I'm thankful I decorate so early around this time in December because I have so many other things to worry about and at least the decorating is already finished! Well, there are a few spaces I want to add some Christmas cheer to yet but for the most part, the big stuff is all finished.

Today, I wanted to share our Christmas kitchen with you guys and also share some quick tips on how you can spruce up the most used room in your home for the Holidays. (I mean, it's definitely the heart of our home, here!)

1. Put up a wreath-

It doesn't have to be a million tiny ones, like I did. I mean, even I admit that's a little overboard, but what can I say? We do Christmas big here! It can be just a simple wreath you add over your sink, or a fun & festive wreath on a corner cabinet. Either way, adding a wreath is a fun way to add some instant Christmas cheer to your kitchen, I keep our large boxwood over our sink up all year long! If you're looking for my exact mini boxwood wreaths, you can find them here, or a cheaper alternative would be to take some boxwood garland from the target dollar spot and create your own. I can say though, these mini boxwoods are a year old and were stored away and are still as green and pretty as ever. Good thing is that they don't have to be put away after Christmas is over! You can use them as table decor, or over candle holders or anywhere really once the Holidays are done. They're also super gorgeous in Spring vignettes!

2. Add a festive sign-

I'm totally obsessed with putting signs up in our home, not only do I love supporting small shops when I can, but signs are so festive and cute and a great way to add some personalized cheer to any space. I snagged this gingerbread baking co. sign from This Hand Painted Home and it is so adorable! I love it over our stove for the Holidays! I also always love to add a seasonal sign to our coffee bar/station. They're so fun to switch out and change for the Holidays. I apply ours with command strips attached to the tile so it doesn't damage it and it makes it easier to remove and put up a new one when the time comes!

3. Put out a cute hand towel-

LOVE hand towels. If you follow me over on Instagram you probably already know I have a weird obsession with them. But they're seriously so cute & the easiest and cheapest way to spruce up a space! I always have a themed towel (or two!) out for the Holidays/season. I linked some of my favorites below in case you wanna snag one for yourself! You can snag this cute red striped one, here.

4. Buy some smell good dish soap-

Sometimes, it's the little things, right? I can't tell you I LOVE doing dishes now, but I can tell you I don't mind it nearly as much as I typically do when I have some smell good dish soap out. I'm loving this Iowa Pine soap from Mrs. Meyers you can snag this whole set- a dish towel, hand soap and dish soap on my favorite cleaning subscription box site for a limited time! Check it out & get $10 off your first box if you order through the link!

5.Create a Coffee Bar-

My absolute favorite part of our kitchen? My coffee bar! It gets used daily and I feel like I have I get to spoil myself a little bit every day with a yummy cup of coffee thanks to this cute little Keurig, My coffee bar changes with the seasons and sometimes, more than that. You can read all about how to create your own coffee bar here

So, what do you guys think? Who knew decorating your kitchen for the Holidays could be so simple & easy?! I love making every room in our home cozy for the Holidays, and well, for everyday. I learned awhile ago to be thankful for what we have, our kitchen isn't new, big or fancy, but it suits us just fine and we make tons of memories here. Good thing is, these tips will work for any kitchen at adding some Christmas cheer! I can't wait to hear from you guys and see what you think! You can leave a comment for me below or come hang out with me on Instagram

Friday Favorites- The COZIEST top & Chunkiest Stockings

{affiliate links may be used, thank you so much for helping make this little blog possible!}

Hey babes! Happy Friday! Freaking out because there is apparently only 3 more Fridays until Christmas! WHAT? Why am I freaking out? #1 because I'm not finished my shopping, and #2. because I'm so NOT ready to think about putting all my Christmas stuff away when I haven't even finished decorating yet. Isn't it crazy how fast the Holiday season flies? It's my favorite time of the year and I try to soak up every second! I love all the cheesy Christmas movies, all the treats & goodies, baking, and slipping Bailey's into my hot cocoa when nobody is looking.

This week sort of flew by and I'm not even sure why or how? The weeks have a funny way of doing that lately.

This weekend is going to be a busy one. We're hosting our first Ugly Christmas Sweater party & I'm excited but also stressed because well, planning parties is stressful. It doesn't help that we decided to take on a major renovating project at the beginning of this week in hopes of having it done THIS WEEKEND. Nick is crazy like that, but we work better under pressure anyway. Ha! So today, I'll be going out shopping for food & decor like a crazy person trying to get everything ready and done. Have I mentioned we still don't have our Ugly Sweaters. So yeah, that's where we are with that.

Anyway, lots of goodies to share with you this week that I think you'll L O V E.

I've been buying fresh garland from Lynch Creek Farms a few years now and I just love it so much. I always get the same style, because I'm always like, if something ain't broke, don't fix it, right? It smells SO good when it arrives, literally, my house smells like a Christmas Tree Farm and that's NOT a bad thing. ;) I linked my exact one here.

I also snagged these super cute knit stockings on Black Friday on MAJOR sale from Crate & Barrel. I was a little surprised by how big they are but it's not a bad thing. Don't worry, Santa doesn't fill these up on Christmas Eve, hey just sort of puts a few goodies in there for everyone.
I've also been asked a TON about the flocked garland. I found it at Wal-Mart for $13 but it's sold out now online, I got mine in store though so check out your local stores if you're looking because this garland is AHMAYZING for the price! I added some Glimmer String lights and they're super bright. They're also great for wreath's also! You can also use them inside lanterns and in vignettes to add some fun Christmas cheer to any space.

Just yesterday I shared this super cozy & comfy Henley Top on my Instagram stories and I love it so much I knew I had to share with you guys here, because I know ya'll can relate to me and the fact that I have an "at home" wardrobe, that's bigger than my actual wardrobe. Seriously. Leggings & Cardi's for LIFE.

I'm linking all of the goodies above & all of my Friday Favs here below!

Can't wait to hear from you guys! What are ya'll loving this week?

5 easy steps to creating a FESTIVE Christmas Coffee Bar!

{post may contain affiliate links, thank you so much for making this little blog possible!}

Hey babes! Let me start by saying that even if you don't love coffee you can still have a "coffee bar" some days we drink tea, other days we drink hot cocoa, but most days, we drink coffee. I love love love changing up this little space for the seasons. It is one of my favorite cozy tiny corners of our home. Why? Because every day I relax, and take 5-10 minutes to myself to gather my thoughts and make a cup of coffee. The older I get the more I realize how much I enjoy the little things. And as sad as this might sound, some days, making a cup of coffee is the excitement of my day. That's kind of what happens when you're a Mom. Therefore, I believe everyone should have their own "coffee space" in their home. You don't need a ton of space to create one either. I took this tiny un-used corner space and put it to use. We live in a smaller fixer upper so I make use of every single nook & cranny in this house.

Today, I figured I'd share with you 5 easy steps to create a Christmas Coffee Bar of your own to enjoy for the Holiday season and beyond!
1. Buy a Coffee Maker-

Any kind will do, you don't have to get a Keurig or have a special coffee maker. Although that does add to the sense of indulgence I have every day brewing a cup of coffee (man, is this really my life now?!) Once you have a coffee maker, I'm going to bring you to the next step..

{You can get my Keurig here & it comes in all sorts of fun colors!}

2. Snag some mugs-
Or maybe you have a giant mug collection already, like me. I mean seriously you guys. SO MANY MUGS. I can't help myself. I want all of them. I love picking out my mug in the morning. I realize this sounds so super cheesy but I can't help it. This is really my life now, and I love mugs. While my Rae Dunn mugs are super hard to find these days, I'm linking some of favorite mugs below if you want to snag some!

3. Mug Storage-
Once you have some mugs, you'll need a place to store them. I'm starting to feel like I'm reading a "If you give a mouse a cookie," book. But mug storage is sort of a must. If you're cool with keeping them in a cabinet space that's awesome, just make sure you have a designated space for your mugs. That's sort of the fun of making coffee every day, isn't it? Picking out your mug? Or have I just gone completely crazy over here? Maybe I should get out of the house more? Meh. Sounds like too much work. I found the cutest little mug rack here and it's under $17 and comes in three awesome colors.

{You can find my exact mug rack here}

4. Storage Canisters-
You'll wanna have some storage canisters to keep all your goodies, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, sugar, whatever those goodies may be. If you can't snag any Rae Dunn canisters, here's another super cute alternative, but I'll link some more of my favorites below.

5. Make it festive-
I love adding cute signs to my decor! And this sign gets changed up with the seasons, and, well, sometimes even more than that.

I use Command Strips to hang my signs to keep them easy to remove and so I don't damage our tile backsplash.
They work great! My current "Santa Bar" sign is from a cute shop on Etsy called The American Farmhouse but I'll link some more of my favorite coffee signs below if you're looking to create your own coffee bar.
So there ya have it friends! Super quick & easy tips on how to create a cute and festive coffee bar of your own!

I hope it helps some of you if you're struggling or maybe it will inspire you to create your own! Thank you all so much for stopping by today! Seriously. It means so so much to me! I love hearing from you! Drop a comment below or message me on Instagram and let me know what you think! Do you guys put together a coffee bar for the Holidays or for everyday?!

Friday Favorites- The BEST candles & All Knit Everything!

{Post may contain affiliate links, Thank you SO much for helping me make this little blog possible!}

Another week, another Friday favorites post. I know I ALWAYS say this but seriously, time is FLYING and I'm still not done decorating or shopping. I know, it's only December 1st, but for me, I always feel BEHIND. Even if I'm really not, because see, what I tend to do every single year is forget to buy for 2 or 3 people and then end up having to pay $50 to ship something overnight and then it either doesn't come in time, or I remember that I already bought that person a gift. Seriously. THAT is just the kinda person I am. Little known facts.

However, I am happy to say I did the bulk of my Christmas shopping fairly early this year, and I did manage to get a lot of it done last week on Black Friday & Cyber Monday. I have a feeling though, that sales are just going to get better & better as we inch closer & closer to Christmas.

While I'm still waiting on lots of goodies to come in the mail from my sale shopping last week, I am sharing a few things I got already that I snagged on sale!

I am absolutely swooning over this yarn tree garland I got from Crate & Barrel I wanted something neutral for the tree but didn't want to do burlap since we did that last year.

The yarn garland  ended up being the perfect option and it also adds some fun texture to the tree, don't you think? Unfortunately, it sold out pretty quickly, but you can still pick it up locally at a store if you have one close to you!

I also got these knit stockings on sale, and I was thrilled. They didn't come in the mail just yet but I'm hoping to get them shortly! I can't wait to hang them. Since we don't have a mantle I have to hang out stockings on the tv stand using command hooks. I have also hung them on our blanket ladder before and both options turned out okay for us. If you don't have a mantel stockings also look super cute hanging from a staircase with some festive garland. These knit stockings come in cream & red! I got all cream but I'm sort of wishing now that I did a mix of both.

I posted a few weeks ago about some of my recent goodies from Grove Collaborative. I love Grove! It's a subscription box site that delivers cleaning supplies and other goodies to your doorstep as often as you'd like! I love picking and choosing my products from their awesome collections every month.
This month I stocked up on all the IOWA Pine goodies from Mrs. Meyers and I think you guys would just LOVE it if you haven't tried yet. You can sign up to get your own box here and save $10 if you shop via this link. How cool is that?

I'm dying over this yummy White Pine candle from my absolute favorite candle shop over on Instagram! YOU GUYS, I rave about these candles all the time because they are JUST THAT GOOD. I swear you are going to love it. If you love light fresh smelling scents you NEED THIS candle in your home this holiday season. I was thrilled when Brittany gave me a discount code to share with all of you! USE CODE "glamfarmhouse" for 20% off ANY ORDER! Perfect time to stock up on gifts!

& last but not least, I've been asked a few questions about Savi's bedroom all decked out for the Holidays, I'll have a full tour post on the blog next week with all details but her rose gold tree is ON SALE today so I wanted to share it with you so you can snag it for a deal.
I hope ya'll have a GREAT weekend! Thank you so much for coming over to hang out for a few minutes. It means so much to me that you take time out of your day to send me sweet comments and messages! So thankful for ALL OF YOU this holiday season. Thank you so much!

Our Favorite Holiday Tradition- A Cozy & Rustic Hot Cocoa Station

Hey besties! I haven't been feeling all that great the past few days, we came home from Florida and it was like a shock to my system with it being so cold and I ended up catching a cold. I've been pretty darn lazy, honestly. Good thing I had the bulk of our Christmas decorating done by mid November, and you all thought I was crazy, huh? Okay, well maybe I still am- a little. But we're not here to talk about that today. Ha!

Although I've been on the lazier side this week, I did put together our Hot Cocoa Bar/Station, call it whatever suits your fancy, for the season and I totally love it. We've been doing a Hot Cocoa set-up here for a few years & it always gets TONS of use. Especially in the Winter months and on snow days.

It's sort of a tradition now, and even my super "I'm too cool for everything" 14 year old seems to think so.

Our buffet is one of those spaces that gets decked out for EVERY Holiday & season, and it's so fun to have a neutral space to decorate for the Holidays. Nick jokes that he wouldn't know what season it was if I didn't have this space decked out for whatever season we're in. Obviously, I respond with a quick eye roll, but he's sort of right. When the seasons change, so does this space. For that reason, I feel like everyone needs a cute buffet or table to decorate as the seasons change. It's a great spot for "trendy" decor too, and can spice up the room and cure the decorating itch even when you don't feel like changing up any of your other spaces.

This year's hot cocoa bar set up is super similar to the rustic display I had going last year.

I used some vintage copper mugs I picked up last year at a local antique shop but I did find similar ones here and a budget friendly option here if you've been searching for the perfect copper mugs!

That's because this year I really wanted to avoid buying tons of new things if I didn't really HAVE to. I did switch up the banners, the sign from (Harper Grayce Signs) and added some fun & festive garland which can be found here, to the top of our old vintage window mirror. Sometimes the little things can make the biggest difference.  I've always been into the whole "ski lodge" Christmas thing because this time of year I'm dreaming about cozy winter cabins snuggled up by a fire surrounded by lots of deer heads & cozy plaid things. Although I went super neutral in our living room this year (which I'll be sharing with you soon!) It's nice to have one space in our house that still screams, COZY CABIN SKI LODGE. Or I mean, at least it does to me. HA!

So, what do ya'll think of this years hot cocoa station? Do any of you put together a Hot Cocoa station for the season, Holiday? It' is by far one of my favorite "Traditions" I'll be sharing a few of our other favorite traditions on the blog next week!

You can shop some of the goodies in this post to create your own festive hot cocoa station by scrolling below!

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, it means so much to me that you stop by and hang out. So thankful for all of you! Don't forget to come say Hi over on Instagram!
