Fun Decor and Ideas for Celebrating Valentine's Day

The kids are back to school, the hubs is back at work and I'm left trying to get back into the swing of things- the holidays are fun and all but man. They sure do throw things off! While I'm sort of sad it's over, I'm super glad that I can get back into my routine, oh and of course, blogging. My little break was super nice but I sure did miss it. So it feels nice to be sitting here, typing and chatting with all of you again.

I know that most of us aren't even thinking about any sort of upcoming holiday but I'm here to share some Valentine's Day fun with you guys today! The truth is, it will be here before we know it and if we start decorating for Christmas in November, why not start the Valentine's Day fun in January? I know some of you are sitting in front of your phones, tablets or computers right now thinking "What is this girl on?!, I still have my Christmas Tree up!" and trust me when I tell you I think that's completely okay, and you can just come back and reference this post when you're ready to break out the little pink hearts;)

I love Valentine's DAY! Actually- who am I kidding? I love ALL of the Holidays. I know that's it's a completely made up Holiday but it's still fun none the less. It's sort of a big deal in our house too. I love making the kids apart of the fun and today I'm rounding up some of my best blog post for some tips and things you can do to make the Holiday extra special for your kids, your family and your spouses.

this post is full of fun and easy ways for you to celebrate Valentine's Day with little ones! It's a great place to start if you want some ideas.

I absolutely LOVE our Valentine's Day Breakfast we have every year- we've been doing them with Nick since he was 4 and I was so excited to keep the tradition going with my son. You don't have to be fancy, some heart shaped pancakes and strawberry milk will work just fine to get your kids (or spouses!) into the LOVE DAY mood.

3 Make Cookies Together! These heart shaped.Mini Cherry Pies are just perfect for Valentine's Day! Oh, and super yummy too!

4. Create a Valentine's Day Hot Cocoa Bar- Take a peek at all of my Valentine's Day Decor from last year in this post here. You all know I just LOVE decorating for the seasons and all the Holidays! It's so fun! You can pick up decor on a budget when you shop at The Target Dollar Spot.
So I just gotta know- Do you decorate for Valentine's Day or have any fun traditions? I'd love to hear about them! Share with me in the comments below or over on Instagram

I sure hope you're ready because I have lots of Valentine's Day fun coming your way!  Fun decor, DIY's and ways to celebrate with your spouses and kids. If you aren't normally "into it" I promise I can change your outlook;)

XOXO
