Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Sneak Peek & Tips!

Hey babes! Hope ya'll had a great Holiday weekend! This is my favorite month of the WHOLE YEAR! So many fun things happening. We basically celebrate all month long!

I've been chatting with a lot of you about the Nordstrom anniversary sale and wanted to just put together a blog post real quick about it because it's one of the biggest and honestly, best, sales of the year.  So to clear some things up- the Nordstrom anniversary sale is when they drop brand new arrivals throughout the site that are deeply or heavily discounted, so this isn't like one of those "let's clean out the old things" type of sales. That's what makes it different and so good!

So What Exactly is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Early access for the sale starts on July 12th- but that's just if you're a card holder. I normally don't advise credit cards but this is the ONLY one I have because the benefits are just SO good! If you're planning on shopping the sale I really suggest getting a Nordstrom card so you can earn the points- I just have the Nordstrom retail card. You can sign up here and get a $60 bonus note to use to shop the sale!

All this being's super easy to get caught up in the excitement of it all. Feeling like you have to have every single thing, every single blogger posts. And while I probably shouldn't be telling you this- you don't have to do that and honestly- you shouldn't. While I totally appreciate ya'll buying things through my links, I would never want you to feel like you HAVE to buy something or go into debt over it. Especially not a sale. It's important to me that I'm 100% honest and upfront about what's worth it and what isn't.

I bought SO much stuff last year I didn't need. I ended up returning half of it. So this year, I wanted to put a plan in place so I can be prepared and only buy the things I can work into my wardrobe or home over the next few months.

Tip #1- Set A Budget

(this is probably the most important thing.)
It can be $500, or $25. It doesn't matter, as long as you have one. You can easily get caught up in the moment when shopping this sale. So set a budget, and stick to it.

Tip #2- Create a "wish list" of things you want and need
I know a lot of people are coming to me asking for workwear ideas so I'm planning a few workwear round up's with items from the sale- however for me personally- during the sale I like to stock up on my favorite Zella Leggings, (these are perfect for my short girls!) I always snag a pair of newVince Camuto Booties and I love love love my RAILS plaid shirts, they are seriously the softest and fit like a dream! I wear them ALL THE WAYS. Also planning to snag this COZY Barefoot Dreams throw that I missed last year, but totally planning to snag this year for sure.

Tip #3- Shop Smart and if you want it, Don't wait!
Things from this sale sell out insanely fast, like within minutes fast. It can be stressful, and gives me anxiety but I know that it's a great time to snag a deal on my favorite things so I deal, Nordstrom probably has the easiest return policy EVER, they include a pre-paid shipping label in your package and all you have to do is grab and envelope and return if something doesn't fit or if you don't like it!

Here's a peek at some things that are going to be apart of the sale that I personally am hoping to snag! Lots of basics that can transition well through the season! Lots of these items NEVER go on sale so it's great to snag them while the sale is happening!

None of these items are on sale YET, but will be live on Friday at 12:30, so you can bookmark this page or your favorite items so you can be sure to snag them before they sell out!

I'll keep ya'll updated on my favorite picks from sale and I'll also share a new blog post when the sale goes loves of my current favorite items and promotions and do a huge try on session- Be sure to follow me in the LTK it app for my sale picks, collages and outfit ideas! I'll try my best to keep you guys as updated as possible and share new information with ya'll as it comes to me!

Wal-Mart Wednesday- 5 Things You Need For Summer Now!

Hey cuties! Happy Wal-Mart Wednesday! Can ya'll even freaking believe it's July already? HOLY CRAP. I'm super happy because it's my favorite month but also sad because Summer is going by so fast like it always seems to do.

However, it's still in full swing here at the Scardina Casa so I wanted to pop in with my monthly Wal-Mart try on haul & share 5 things I think everyone should snag for Summer Vacations & Trips!  Have ya'll stopped in Wal-Mart or hopped on the site recently? So many cute things and amazing deals on high quality items. I am SUPER impressed lately and I've been stopping by the clothing section every trip now. I shared a Wal-Mart swim haul last month and shared (here) if you wanna check it out!

So let's get started with 5 things you need for Summer now!

1. A fun day date or date night top!-

I am so obsessed with this cute halter or tube top style top in this pretty pink floral pattern, but it also comes in a few more options including white which is always so classy and timeless and can transition well through the seasons with some black skinnies or denim and booties. The style is so fun and looks adorable with high waisted jeans or jeggings.

2. A fun straw tote or crossbody bag-

For me, personally, it's my favorite time of year when I can switch to carrying my straw totes when the weather gets warm. I can't get over this cute straw crossbody that is perfect for carrying your beach day or day trip essentials. I love the crossbody style but it can also be worn on the shoulder. Wal-Mart also has the cutest freaking beach and tote bags EVER.

3. A go to dress-

This one gives me major boho vibes and I am here for it! The dress is so lightweight and comes in a gorgeous royal blue color too. I love the tie front, cinched waist and off shoulder style sleeves. Plus olive is the perfect color when you have a Summer tan! HERE. FOR. IT.

4. Nude wedges or Metallic Gold Sandals

I'm LOOOOOOVING these metallic gold cross slides. The style is so timeless and literally dresses up any outfit. Also, everyone needs a pair of nude wedges and {these} are super comfy and priced right at just under $20. Say waaaaa?! Such a great dupe for a "more expensive" pair.

5. White Jeans or Jeggings-

I'm the type of person that wears white denim ALL YEAR LONG with zero shame, so I have a few pairs on hand. I love how stretchy these ones are, and they're super lightweight so they're great for hot summer nights paired with nude wedges and a cute top! I wore them with this cute striped tee that is also SUPER comfy and can be paired with a denim jacket and black leggings for a more casual or "travel friendly" look!

So there ya have it! 5 Things you need to add to your Summer wardrobe! I would LOVE to know what ya'll think! What are your must haves for Summer? Should we continue the monthly Wal-Mart Try on Hauls?! Drop a comment for me below or shoot me a message over on Instagram! I love to hear from ya'll!!!

{This post contains affiliate links and was sponsored by Wal-Mart. But as always, all opinions and thoughts are my own! Thank you so much for the love and support! It means the world to me!}

26 Things To Do With Your Kids This Summer!

Hey babes! Long time no blog, what can I say? Summer is just beginning for us here at the Scardina Casa, Nick had his last day of school on Tuesday and Sav on Monday. We're ready. I'm anxious to have a more relaxed schedule for sure, but let's face it, Summer days can get long, and well, boring, after a bit. I love it but Sav get's bored quickly, she can occupy herself but she likes to have things and activities to do or look forward to!

I do have a few day trips planned but nothing crazy besides our beach trip to Florida at the end of the Summer, our bucket list is pretty basic, but it's full of some of the best traditional Summer things and that makes me happy for sure! Every Sunmer since Nick was little I put together a bucket list and it was one of my favorite things to do!

But today I wanted to round up 25 fun things you can do with your littles this Summer that don't cost a ton of money!

1. Head to the Zoo.

This is basically on everyone's bucket list, isn't it? We personally love Smaller Zoos. Not only are they cheaper but you get a completely different experience visiting smaller ones, we head to one about an hour from us, and you can ride camels there. Savanna talks about it all year and always looks forward to our Summer trips there!

2. Make a birdhouse-

There are plenty of ways you can DIY this project but sometimes it's just cheaper to buy a kit! We did (this one) and it came with everything we needed except the bird feed itself!

3. Build a Sandcastle in your own backyard!

Savanna's favorite thing is this (Sand) i love it because it's not as messy as Play-Doh and never ever dries out. We have several sets of sand but (this set) is great and comes with a container to keep your sand in and all the accessories you need to build a sandcastle in your own backyard.

4. Do a Sensory Activity-

We love these themed sets from (amazon) we like to learn about different things each week and these are great for that. One week we'll do something about space, the next about the ocean, the next about dinosaurs- etc.

5. Buy a cheap telescope and spend the night looking at the stars-

Sav has been really intrigued by Space lately! Which is awesome because so am I! I love looking through a telescope and exploring the night sky! There are several great guides online to search for different star configurations or you can grab a book to help guide you! {We got this one.}

6. Make a hanging Solar System!

7. Create a Fairy Garden
You can opt to head to your local nursery to grab a few things but this is a great starter set!

8. Play in a Sprinkler

9. Have an outdoor movie night!

We've made so many memories with our outdoor movie set already! We have this projector, it's under $100 bucks but has been good to us for the past 2 years and serves it's purpose! Also, it's bluetooh so you can connect it to any bluetooth enabled speaker! We use this projector screen! I love it because it's light and we can pretty much carry it anywhere!

10. Have Smores making "contest" using different ingredients and vote on who's creation tastes the best!

11. Have a backyard camp-out

This is exactly what it sounds like! just pitch a cheap tent in the backyard, start a fire, roast marshmallows or grill hot dogs and tell scary stories! It's such a fun time and we host a family camp-out with my nieces every year! They love it and so do we!

12. Go out for Ice Cream or Snowballs

13. Visit a Drive in Movie or go to the Movies

14. Make a wind chime
15. Create a Butterfly Garden
16.Catch Fire-Fly's
I'm not even sure if everyone has these but one of our favorite things to do in the Summer is catch fireflies in a mason jar! We just punch holes in the top and catch as many as we can and look at them for a little while before we let them go. It's one of those simple things that seriously makes me so happy!

17. Visit a local lake or beach

18. Head to Michaels Stores for a craft day!

Did you know Michaels Stores offers weekly themed crafts for your littles? It's called Camp Creativity! Just pay a small fee and your little one can make a cute craft on select days through the week! We've been doing this with the kids for years and it's seriously so fun!

19. Make Ice Cream- We follow this recipe from All Recipes and it's so good!

20. Visit a theme park

21. Have a water balloon fight! These self TIE Water Balloons are so awesome!
22. Paint Rocks- I'm sure you could totally find some rocks around your own yard to paint but if you can't this set is super cute!

23. Sidewalk Chalk

24. Bake a Cake
25. Make Slime- I know, don't hate me. But this is one of Savanna's favorite thing to do! So I let her and just make sure she keeps it outside. We found the coolest kit that comes with everything you need on Amazon!
26. Vist an Aquarium

As you an probably tell, Sav really loves arts and crafts so I'm always looking for good kits so she can be creative! I really hope this list helps you on those boring summer days when theres nothing to do! We typically do one craft a week, and we take one "field trip" a week. A field trip can just mean a trip to our cousins house to swim for the day, a trip to our local farmers market or a quick stop to grab snowballs or ice cream!

I really love the long lazy days of Summer and am looking forward to spending lots of down time with the kids this Summer just relaxing and enjoying it while it lasts! I hope you do too!

Hey hey! I'm so excited but also kinda sad, excited because my favorite holiday is coming up, 4th of July, but also a little sad because I can't believe it's approaching so quickly! I wanted to share a few fun drink recipes, and decor ideas this week to get myself and everyone else prepared to celebrate!

I shared this recipe over on my Instagram earlier and figured I'd post it here too so ya'll had something to reference. Sidenote: I'm the messiest cook ever, and there was lots of trial and error happening while I made this.

This dip is suppppper easy and you've probably already heard of it, but adding some candied sprinkles to it can make it feel super patriotic and bump up this classic recipe a notch for your guests! This is also something super easy you can make to take camping, out on the boat, or to the beach. I'm also not a fan of baking really in general so I like making cute and easy things that don't take me forever. This is always a hit!

BAG OF MARSHMALLOWS (I used JUMBO sized but you can use any size you want.)
1 6 PACK bag of Hershey Chocolate Bars
Butter or Crisco
Colored Sprinkles (I used red & blue)
baking pan of your choice
parchment paper
toothpicks or skewer stick
paper towel

Step 1- Preheat Oven to 450 degrees

Step 2- Line a cookie sheet or baking pan with parchment paper, fill a bowl with water (enough to dunk a marshmallow in.)

Step 3. Skewer a single marshmallow on your toothpick or skewer stick, dip in water, blot on paper towel, and over a bowl, sprinkle red sprinkles all over marshmallow until it's completely covered. I used 6 blue and 11 red marshmallows. Repeat this step with blue sprinkles until you have enough marshmallows. It helps to lay out your "flag" before starting the sprinkle process, I used 11 red, and 11 white marshmallows alternating between the two.

Step 4.  Let marshmallows stand for about 10-15 minutes until dry. While they're drying, Prepare your baking sheet with crisco or butter. bottom and sides of pan should be completely covered.

Step 5. Layer chocolate bars along bottom of the pan, I sometimes break them up to fill in empty spaces. You can get creative here and use different things like nutella if you choose!

Step 6. Create your "flag" by alternating red, white and blue marshmallows over to top the chocolate bars and bake for 7-10 minutes until white marshmallows are browned just a bit.

It's seriously so easy and perfect to throw together for any event! It's always a hit!

I ended up pulling mine out of the oven too soon and messed up the top corner of the blue marshmallow, so learn from my mistakes and wait for the marshmallows to cool in the oven before removing!!

TIP: Smores dip is best served warm, so if you want to prepare ahead, I'd do steps 1-5 and wait until company arrives to "bake" it!

So that's it babes! Super easy! if ya'll make it be sure to send me a message or drop a comment for me below! Let's be friends on Instagram too! I hope ya'll hang out for all the fun patriotic content this week! <3

5 Easy Ways To Decorate Your Space for Summer with Flower Home!

{this post is sponsored by Wal-Mart but as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!}

Hey hey friends! Well this week just flew by super fast and now we leave for vacation in less than 24 hours and I haven't even packed so basically I'm in full panic mode as per usual.

However, while we've already started our next project, I wanted to share a space in our new living room with you guys! To say I'm obsessed would be a bit of an under-statement.

If you've been following me for the past year or so, you've probably noticed I've strayed away a bit from in your face farmhouse style, which leaves me with quite the predicament honestly, since this blog is called The Glam Farmhouse and all, however, I knew it was time for a change.

My living room hasn't made my happy now for quite a bit, I hated the dark flooring, our Ikea Ektorp, while it's been good to us, was falling apart and I was really tired of everything looking exactly the same. I needed to bring life back into this space again. I'm a huge believer that style evolves, we grow, we change, and we start to like different things. This isn't bad! Change is a good thing, and I'm learning now after completing (well, almost..) this room. For the first time in a long time it makes me smile again. It makes me happy and brings peace to my soul. A room should do that, your home should do that. Your home should totally be a reflection of YOU, and not everyone else.

So while I'm still stuck at what my "style" is right now, I can tell you that I carefully selected everything in this room with the vibes it gave me, each and every thing makes me insanely happy.

Would you believe me if I told you the one thing that inspired this whole room makeover was at Wal-Mart!? I seriously am dying over all of their collaborations lately, but this one, this one might just be my favorite! Wal-Mart is quickly becoming my go to lately as I've snagged so many cute decor items and clothing items from there recently. {this peach ottoman} is what dreams are made of honestly, so gorgeous and full of life!

Just like the new home decor items from Drew Barrymore's new FLOWER home collection at Wal-Mart! Each piece is so beautiful and unique, and I've been loving adding things from the line to our casa!
Today, I wanted to share a few tips for updating ANY space for the upcoming seasons!

1. Swap out heavy throws for lighter ones in fun colors!
This is one of my favorite things to do! I absolutely love this throw in this gorgeous gold color, that would also work for Fall but also year round. It's lighter than a wool throw but still soft and cozy to snuggle up in without feeling "heavy".

2.Switch out pillows and opt for floral prints and fun pops of color!
It's no secret I'm a throw pillow junkie! I absolutely love these floral print throw pillows and this jade green velvet with pink tassels is so fun. Floral print is so fun for Spring and Summer and something I always love to use in my decor this time of year.

3.Add a fun accent color-
You can do this with anything you wish but in this case I opted for this fun peach colored ottoman for Summer. It's so fun and the fabric is light and lovely. You can also do this with things like candles, and throw blankets!

4.Change your wall art-

I love my old window panes and I don't think I'll ever get rid of them, probably because they actually came from this house when we first bought it! They're so easy to layer and switch up for the seasons, you can opt for a fun wreath but lately I've really been loving art and signs, I'm obsessed with this {palm leaf print} for Summer!

5. Add Greenery-
This is by far one of my favorite things to do, real or faux, it doesn't matter. If you're wondering what a space is missing, add a plant or some florals and 99% of the time it will bring a space to life!

6. Fresh lighting-
LIGHTING IS EVERYTHING. Seriously. I'm crushing so hard on this fun lamp from Drew's line! The rattan is so fun for the upcoming warmer months but would also work for well beyond them too!

So that's it! You DON'T have to spend a ton of money to give your space new life, lots of times you can start small, curtains, rugs, whatever, to make a space feel new again!

When "designing" this space I knew I wanted to keep my furniture neutral so I could easily switch out pillows and throws for the season.

This makeover is proof that creating a comfortable, styling and IG WORTHY space doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, Wal-Mart has more than just the functional stuff, you can check out all the gorgeous items for you home on the site, stuff that fits your style AND your budget! The value is amazing. Everything is such high quality and I am beyond in love!

So what do you guys think? Do you change up your decor for the seasons? I'd love to hear from you guys! Drop a comment for me below or send me a message on Instagram

Thank to so much for spending a bit of your day with me! I just love ya'll so big!

    Wal-Mart Swimsuit Try On!

    {this post is sponsored by Wal-Mart, as alway, all opinions and thoughts are my own and I can't thank you all enough for supporting me}

Hey babes! Can ya'll even freaking BELIEVE that it's mid May already? I'm so freaking excited but also panicking just a bit because I've been throwin' back chicken nuggets like it's my job and I was reminded when I attempted to try on some bathing suits recently. Like, did brands forget to add half the bathing suit orrr??? So in my quest for cute and affordable swimwear I went to the last place I thought I would ever find a swimsuit that I loved, and that I felt was comfortable.

Until I went to FREAKING Wal-Mart YOU GUYS. I can't even believe how obsessed I've been with them lately. SO AFFORDABLE and so cute! They are knocking it out of the park in all areas. Clothes, decor, swimsuits, you name it. Especially in the fashion department. Have ya'll taken a peek lately?

Today I'm sharing a few thing you NEED in your summer wardrobe from THE WALMART asap. Walmart finds tend to sell out quickly online, so if you see something you love-snag it ASAP. Everyone is catching on to to the awesome finds!

For reference- I am a 36c, 128 lbs, and I'm 5'2. I find that information to be super helpful when I'm shopping clothes online!

First up is this suuuuper cute floral print yellow swimsuit I can't even freaking believe how much I love this one.

SO cute, FULL booty coverage and nice support for the girls. Minimal padding and has a tie in the back! ;) I do suggest sticking to your normal size in this- I tend to size up in swimsuits but NOT these, so it's really nice that the things are true to size. I got a Small in the bottoms and a M in the top. Both fit perfect!

This kimono is super versatile because it can also be worn with denim shorts, and a cute tank! I love pieces that can be worn multiple ways and this is totally one of them. I'm also linking a few of my faves below!

This hat is also from Wal-Mart and only 9 FREAKING DOLLARS YOU GUYS.
     I cannot.

Next up I snagged this cute floral print swimsuit top in the same style because it's so cute! This one has some cute lace detailing that is freaking adorable and also True to Size!

These cute sandals are sooo pretty and also from Wal-Mart but online only!

I've had SO MANY REQUESTS to share shorts in a midi style or for taller girls, I've yet to find a pair that are cute and comfortable but these are IT you guys! Seriously. SO CUTE and comfortable.

They have some stretch and I got a size 4 in them- they run big so keep that in mind. I suggest sizing down! They come in tons of colors and are super affordable.
You can check them out here along with all the different colors and they're under $14 bucks y'all. like freaking stop it right now.

I'm snagging so many cute Walmart tops lately like, this pink one with lace detail on the sleeves. Super comfy! They also have cute basic tanks and tees that actually hold up in the wash. I'm super impressed!

I'm also dying over all the cute tote bags and beach bags they have there lately. Anyone else have a beach bag obsession or just me?! It's a problem.

Linking everything from today's post below for you to shop! Everything is in stock but probably won't be for long!

AE late Spring Try On & Haul

Hey cuties! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you guys are having a great week. I'm not really sure why but it's draaaaaaggging for me, I think because Nick and I are supposed to go away this weekend for a friends birthday! Anytime I have something to look forward to, I feel like it takes forever to get here! Ya know what I'm saying?

Anyway, I did some shopping at American Eagle from the new Spring collection that just dropped and I'm soooooo here for it! I freaking LOVE American Eagle. I know, I know, I'm 31 and that's probably weird but I don't care. They have the coziest and cutest casual clothes, are high quality and I always feel like everything is a reasonable price.

I'm planning to upload this session to my stories on Instagram but wanted to be sure ya'll got to see it first! I just so appreciate all of you who have made this blog possible for me, I can't put into words how beyond blessed and thankful I am! I just love ya'll so big!

Let's get started- for reference with sizing, I'm 5'2, 128 pounds (depending on how many tacos and nuggets I've had) and normally a size 4 or 6 in jeans and a S in tops. I always try to list sizing when sharing outfit pics because I know how important that can be to so many of us!

I picked up this cute gauze top with crochet detailing and I am LOVVVVVVING it so much! It's go the cutest fit, and is perfect for date night and concert season! Would love to see this paired with some denim cut offs and boots for a country concert! I paired it with these cute white denim skinnies that are the BEST white denim pants I've ever put on. NOT SEE through, and have a great fit.
got a 4 x-short for reference because I knew I'd be pairing them with wedges and heels. I got an XS in the top too.

Shoes can be found here. and I got a 7.5, which is my normal size! super comfy, and again, can be worn all the ways!
    Here is another outfit option for the white denim, I love love chambray and this top is SO CUTE! The sleeves are adorable and it has a cute oversized fit. This is another versatile piece I feel like, I paired this with black skinnies, and some nude wedges over the weekend for date night! {UPDATE: TOP IS SOLD OUT- FIND SIMILAR HERE}

Straw bag I got from the Shop Bop sale a few weeks ago! I loved my smaller one so much I snagged this one too!

Something else I snagged that I'm loving way more than I thought I would are these Tomgirl Jeans. I was so iffy about them but think they're really cute! Paired with some heels or flats and a cute fitted top they're adorable! If you want a baggier fit, I suggest getting your normal size, however I wanted them to be a bit more fitted so I got a 4 short, and they fit perfectly!

Also got this comfy sweatshirt  that I just love! You can get the matching shorts for this sweatshirt too! This one is a bit cropped so that's something to keep in mind, I can still tuck it into shorts though. Speaking of shorts, these are by far my favorite denim shorts! I remember them selling out so quickly last year so I snagged all the colors! Similar to the tomgirl denim, I sized down one size in the shorts!

So there ya have it! My picks from AE this month! I hope ya'll enjoyed and maybe found something you love too! ;)

You can shop everything from this post below! I also linked a great pair of Tory Burch Dupe Sandals that are under $40 bucks!

Thanks so much for the love and support always! I couldn't do this without you and am just so thankful! Hope you babes have the best weekend and can't wait to hear what ya'll are loving from AE lately!!

5 of the BEST Water Infusions!

Hey cuties! I hope ya'll had the best weekend! We did a few things around the house outside since it was so nice out on Saturday! We got most of the deck stained and I even ordered some new patio furniture I'm super excited about! I seriously can't wait until it's warm enough for me to be able to be outside again, I miss my plants! ha!

Anyway, totally off topic. I wanted to pop on today really quick to share with ya'll some of my favorite water infusions! I get asked to share every time I share my {water bottle} because it usually has some blend of fruit and/or spice in it. I honestly really don't mind plain ole' water but sometimes fruit infused water is super beneficial and I love the taste so it's a great way to drink more water if you struggle with that!

I really love {this water bottle} I purchased on Amazon about a year ago! I don't love that it's plastic but it does the job okay and it's held up awesome. I really like to drink water through a straw and find I drink more of it than when I don't have a water bottle with a straw, anyone else?

I'm going to share a few of my favorite water infusions in case ya'll are in need of a little push to drink more water during the day! Did you know that the average person should be drinking half their weight in water every single day?! That blew my mind because I was literally drinking half that, but when I increase my water intake I literally feel SO MUCH BETTER! My skin gets clearer, I feel better!

    Infusion #1:

Pineapple is an anti-inflammatory and has awesome cleansing properties. It also helps maintain healthy bones and teeth! Mint is great for your digestive system and also awesome if you get frequent headaches

This is by far my favorite water infusion EVER! It's so light and refreshing! I like to use frozen fruit whenever I can because it infuses better, but I will occasionally use fresh pineapple and let it infuse overnight!

    Infusion #2:

    {you can also add mint or basil to this one!}

Kiwi is great for your skin, and can also reduce blood pressure! It also has lots of vitamin C, E and K! Strawberries are amazing for lots of things, including eye health!

TRUUUUUST ME, it's as good as it sounds;)

    Infusion #3:

This is a great detox water and taste super yummy! If you want added Watermelon flavor I suggest mashing a few watermelon cubes in the water. If you're okay with mild flavor, add a few sliced cubes to your water and let sit overnight. I really like using mint on all of my "water infusions" because it's super refreshing to me and also great for cramps!

    Infusion #4:

Love this super fruity blend! Since it's really hard to find frozen oranges, squeezing a little orange juice in the water and then infusing over night will give this maximum flavor! I always like to use frozen blueberries when I can, but fresh will also do just fine.

    Infusion #5:

Great for water weight management and appetite control, I drink this mix a lot when I know I'll be doing a really tough workout because it aids in hydration!

You don't have to mix! Sometimes, water is great infused with just ONE thing. You really can't go wrong with cucumber water, lemon water or just plain ole' pineapple water! It's kinda fun mixing together different things, and it keeps me hydrated and motivated to continue drinking water which I sometimes suck at!

I'll update this post as I continue to find and mix blends that infuse well together! Until then, I hope this helps you get started and that it you give it a try!

Thanks so much for hanging out! I hope this post helps for those asking and wanting a few fruit infused water ideas! You can get my water bottle {here}. It's under $17 bucks and worth every penny!

    Pantry Reveal & Spring Updates

Hey babes! I'm so excited to share our pantry reveal with you guys today and talk a little bit about some things we've been doing to update our little casa for Spring!

The Home Depot is Nick & I's favorite place to shop anytime we're looking to update things around here. They have a really great selection of on-trend products so we can create a home that's just right for us! They literally are a one stop shop for all our home decor needs- I'm especially impressed with their CUTE Spring decor this year, and it's super affordable too! Winning! Seriously, ya'll need to check out their furniture line! I'm drooling over this gorgeous bed! But more on that later, right now I wanna talk about our first project we completed this year! Feeling all sorts of accomplished!

First, let's take a peek at the before. Fair warning, it's pretty scary. When we first moved in years ago I knew I'd eventually need a pantry, but creating one just never seemed like that much of a priority, mostly because it's not that big a deal and nobody really sees it,  but we've been itching to get some of those "we can do that later" projects finished lately and this was one of them!

    Don't see I didn't warn ya!

Anyway, she's looking much better these days!

I have to admit I've been peeping this pattern tile for a minute, I've been wanting to use it so bad but knew it would have to be in a small space because it is SUPER trendy. VOILA! When we decided we needed to update and create a pantry space, I knew just what tile I'd use in here! I choose the black & white ultimately, but the gray is gorgeous also!

I actually got to knock out two birds with one stone in here because something else I've been dying to try is some wall-paper, specifically this one that looks like shiplap and The Home Depot had a HUGE selection! But I went back and forth between the one that looks like shiplap and the one that looks like brick.. I decided on the shiplap because I figured that would be the one ya'll would most want to see and hear feedback on! Along with plenty of other cute home decor finds.

It looks SO legit you guys and literally half the cost and hassle of actual shiplap. It will be easier to remove to if and when the time comes, let's face it, I get tired of things pretty quickly..

We choose a creamy white paint so we picked bleached linen, it has some pink undertones which was honestly perfect because I wanted that to be an accent color in here;) and I wanted things nice and bright in here, I really wanted to keep everything super neutral and let the tile be the star of the show in here.

We debated wooden shelves but honestly, I really like how easy the wire shelving is to take care of and move around as needed. Sometimes I prefer practical to beauty. I've learned the hard way over the years.

You can find the exact wire shelves we have here.

We don't have a ton of space in here so I really don't buy things in bulk, however it is super nice having this space to store things that I can't fit into the cabinets.

I like using baskets to keep things together, similar to what I do everywhere else;)
I love keeping things in clear plastic containers!
LOVE this OXO set that comes in a set of 5 or 10!

The Home Depot had a great selection of those too. I just ordered these for more storage space. They were only 2 for $24!

So that's it! One project finished and 200,585 to go..

I'm so excited to have this project DONE! We seriously have a never ending list of things to do here at our casa, and now that the weather is getting a little bit nicer I'm excited to get them done!

You can shop some of my favorites from The Home Depot here!

I can't wait to hear what you guys think about our little pretend pantry! I love using all the spaces we have in our home! Drop a comment for me below or send me a DM on INSTAGRAM! I can't wait to chat with you cuties!!
