Pantry Reveal & Spring Updates

Hey babes! I'm so excited to share our pantry reveal with you guys today and talk a little bit about some things we've been doing to update our little casa for Spring!

The Home Depot is Nick & I's favorite place to shop anytime we're looking to update things around here. They have a really great selection of on-trend products so we can create a home that's just right for us! They literally are a one stop shop for all our home decor needs- I'm especially impressed with their CUTE Spring decor this year, and it's super affordable too! Winning! Seriously, ya'll need to check out their furniture line! I'm drooling over this gorgeous bed! But more on that later, right now I wanna talk about our first project we completed this year! Feeling all sorts of accomplished!

First, let's take a peek at the before. Fair warning, it's pretty scary. When we first moved in years ago I knew I'd eventually need a pantry, but creating one just never seemed like that much of a priority, mostly because it's not that big a deal and nobody really sees it,  but we've been itching to get some of those "we can do that later" projects finished lately and this was one of them!

Don't see I didn't warn ya!

Anyway, she's looking much better these days!

I have to admit I've been peeping this pattern tile for a minute, I've been wanting to use it so bad but knew it would have to be in a small space because it is SUPER trendy. VOILA! When we decided we needed to update and create a pantry space, I knew just what tile I'd use in here! I choose the black & white ultimately, but the gray is gorgeous also!

I actually got to knock out two birds with one stone in here because something else I've been dying to try is some wall-paper, specifically this one that looks like shiplap and The Home Depot had a HUGE selection! But I went back and forth between the one that looks like shiplap and the one that looks like brick.. I decided on the shiplap because I figured that would be the one ya'll would most want to see and hear feedback on! Along with plenty of other cute home decor finds.

It looks SO legit you guys and literally half the cost and hassle of actual shiplap. It will be easier to remove to if and when the time comes, let's face it, I get tired of things pretty quickly..

We choose a creamy white paint so we picked bleached linen, it has some pink undertones which was honestly perfect because I wanted that to be an accent color in here;) and I wanted things nice and bright in here, I really wanted to keep everything super neutral and let the tile be the star of the show in here.

We debated wooden shelves but honestly, I really like how easy the wire shelving is to take care of and move around as needed. Sometimes I prefer practical to beauty. I've learned the hard way over the years.

You can find the exact wire shelves we have here.

We don't have a ton of space in here so I really don't buy things in bulk, however it is super nice having this space to store things that I can't fit into the cabinets.

I like using baskets to keep things together, similar to what I do everywhere else;)
I love keeping things in clear plastic containers!
LOVE this OXO set that comes in a set of 5 or 10!

The Home Depot had a great selection of those too. I just ordered these for more storage space. They were only 2 for $24!

So that's it! One project finished and 200,585 to go..

I'm so excited to have this project DONE! We seriously have a never ending list of things to do here at our casa, and now that the weather is getting a little bit nicer I'm excited to get them done!

You can shop some of my favorites from The Home Depot here!

I can't wait to hear what you guys think about our little pretend pantry! I love using all the spaces we have in our home! Drop a comment for me below or send me a DM on INSTAGRAM! I can't wait to chat with you cuties!!

{This post is sponsored by The Home Depot, and contains affiliate links, but as always all opinions and thoughts are my own, and I only work with brands I have personal experience with! Thank you so much for your love and support always! I wouldn't be able to do this without you!}

Spring Style Wal-Mart with Maurices Try-On

(This post is in partnership with Wal-Mart and Maurices. As always, all opinions, thoughts and comments are my own! Thank you all so much for the love and support always!)

Hey babes! March has been a super busy and crazy month but I am feeling so thankful for the "busy"! We've been trying hard to get stuff done here at the Scardina Casa and I am beyond excited to show you our little bitty "pantry closet" makeover! We've officially started all of our Spring projects here and I'm super excited for the warmer months to come.

Today though I wanted to finally share something I get TONS of requests for via Instagram and on other social media. A Wal-Mart try on haul! To be clear though, I did buy lots of things from the new partnership Maurice's has with Wal-Mart! Which is still pretty awesome because I seriously haven't shopped at Maurice's in YEARS and was so excited about their new Spring Collection that just dropped on 3/7! I really have been so impressed with Wal-Mart lately, especially with their collaborations and partnerships, clothing, and decor wise! It's safe to say Wal-Mart is stepping up their game and that gets me all sorts of excited!

I wanted to share a mix of different clothing and outfits with you guys. I seriously found SO much though and could have bought basically everything from the line. They have the cutest basics and fun tops.

This tank is such a pretty print for Spring. And it's also SUPER comfortable! I was surprised at how well it fit too, I got an XS for reference. I feel like you can wear it lots of ways the next few months! Wedges are also from Wal-Mart and super affordable! Comes in a nude color option too and one of the reasons I love these so much is because they're not super high, so they're perfect if you want a cute pair of wedges but are scared to walk in high heels, like me. ha!

Ya'll know comfy and casual is my jam, saw this super cute hoodie and had to have it! It's so dang comfy and comes in 3 colors, I paired it with some leggings and these cute tennies I also got from Maurices at Wal-Mart. They are crazy comfy and really inexpensive, under $25 bucks, I'll be wearing them a ton for sure!

Also, really feeling like this outfit might be my favorite, let's face it, basics are just what I'm about! I love these high neck tanks! They're super comfortable and lightweight so I feel like they'd also be good for working out! I tied mine but this one is a little longer in the front and back so it would be legging friendly, I got an XS in the top and a small in the utility jacket, the "jacket" is on the lighter side so keep that in mind. More of a shirt jacket style but really really cute!

I am for sure planning more Wal-Mart hauls in the future! Note to self: don't count Wal-Mart out! They are totally stepping it up and I'm so excited to see what more brands they partner with so I can continue sharing with you babes!

What do ya'll think? Will you be checking out Wal-Mart for clothes in the future? I seriously can't believe how affordable and cute everything is! I even told my Mom she had to go and buy some things for Spring there!

Thank you all so so much for the love and support always! It seriously means so much to me, I would not be able to do this without YOU!!

Weekly Follower Faves 3/24

These weeks are just going by so dang fast lately, aren't they!? I have to tell ya'll that I am kinda glad because honestly, I need Spring & Summer in my life ASAP.

I was all out of sorts this week, just getting back from vacation on Sunday and trying to jump right back into the swing of things. I feel like this time of year can tend to be so busy, we typically always start all the house projects we've been avoiding doing all Winter and the house is just always so chaotic but it's exciting at the same time! I'm super anxious to get back to my "schedule" this week. I need routine in my life ya'll or else I just end up walking in circles like a crazy person complaining about all the stuff I need to do while avoiding doing any of it. Oops.

Anyway, wanted to pop in quickly and share this weeks roundup of follower faves with you babes! These are the things ya'll have been loving this week, the things that have been purchase the most by you and also the items that I've heard great feedback about!

10. Lace Up Swimsuit // This swimmy is STILL making the top 10 list and I mean, I'm not mad about it. It really is such a comfy and flattering one piece swimsuit! It comes in yellow and blue and I have both! I'm a medium for reference in this one!

9. Milk Bottle Measuring Cups // Anthropologie started off their 20% off for members sale and I was SO dang excited. I love when this sale happens because Anthropologie can be pricey but they have the CUTEST stuff! These cups are so cute, I use them everyday and they look so cute on your counter too!

8. Beach Fleece // This fleece is my favorite and ya'll are loving it too! I wore it 2 times this week and I already know I'm gunna be wearing it a ton this Spring & Summer too! I got a size XS for reference, it's pretty oversized.

7. Wedge Sandal // I've been buying all the cute sandals and flip flops I can get my hands on these days! I'm just soooo dang ready for cute dresses and Spring outfits! These were on sale last week and so many of you snagged them and said how comfortable they are!

6. Black Jumpsuit // Literally I don't like to say you NEED something but oh my gosh! This jumpsuit. YOU NEED IT. It's so cute! and comfortable, I basically feel like I'm wearing pajamas! I size down in it. It runs big.

5. Mom & Me Swimsuits // I'm just DYING over these cute Mom & Me suits! I got my normal size Medium but sized up for Savanna. I'm impressed with how well they made for how affordable they are. I'm planning a Mom & Me swimsuit try on soon as soon as all my suits come in! ;)

4. The Best Rug! // So weird to see this rug I bought last year on the list but it's still my favorite and super affordable. Under $120! Very soft and the colors are a bit muted and go with everything!

3. My Favorite Candles // Because we loooooove candles, right? I always stock up when they're on sale! This is THE candle you need for Spring ya'll TRUST ME. SO good!

2. BROW WIZ PENCIL // I know SO many of ya'll snagged this on sale but even NOT on sale it's an amazing freaking deal you guys!! Seriously.

1. The Sandals You Need For Spring // look sis! If you buy ONE sandal this season, it needs to be these. They are so comfortable and super cute. I almost wish I would have bought 2 pairs because I feel like I'm going to wear these until I can't anymore! HA! They run true to size for me, I'm normally a 7.5 and that's what I got!

So that's it! Your favorites from the week! I seriously always love these posts because it's so fun to hear feedback from ya'll about what you like and what you don't! I haven't shared a ton this week because things have been crazy, excited to get back into "routine" this week!

Hope ya'll are having a great weekend! Can't wait to catch up soon! XOXO

 photo glam-sig_zpszarat6ml.png

Hey friends! I hope ya'll are having a great week!

I wanted to jump right in today after talking a few weeks back about how we were looking for a new sofa for our living room. Don't get me wrong, our Ikea Ektorp has been so so good to us, but we bought it USED almost 6 years ago and well..she's seen some better days. It was always meant to be a "temporary" piece of furniture in our home, we always knew we were going to wait until the babes were just a tiny bit older to by something a little sturdier. Now that the kids are almost 6 and 16, I feel like it's the perfect time to invest in something new!

I did a little poll on (instagram) a few weeks ago asking for your sofa suggestions. There were 3 that were talked about to me REPEATEDLY. But first, I wanted to talk about my sofa "requirements"..

1. I need it to be COMFORTABLE, and wide. The Ikea ektorp is great but it's not very wide. If Nick and I want to lay side by side on the sofa, we have to remove the back cushions so we can both fit comfortably.

2. I need something that's easy to clean. Having removable and washable covers has it's strong points.. I love that I can wash the covers as needed, but taking them on and off can get a bit annoying. I need something that's stain resistant and that can easily be cleaned when things get messy. We live in our house, and things can get messy. I refuse to tell people they, "Can't eat in the living room" because I'm worried about my sofa..

3. I want something light in color, but NOT white. Like I said above, we're messy. I want something that I can easily clean, but am not constantly cleaning. Plus I change up my decor so much, I need something that can easily transition through my "moods", ya feel me?

Now that that's out of the way..

These sofas were the top recommended sofas for families!

1. Crate & Barrel Lounge ii // I think this one was the top recommended sofa of all the sofa's I'm sharing today- I like that they are so customizable and come in a TON of color options. The only thing throwing me off a bit is price, you guys, I'm cheap okay? I really don't want to spend $4k on a sofa. However, the reviews are amazing on this one! And it does look suppppper comfortable! Did I splurge? You'll see soon!

2. Radley Sectional From Macy's // This one also has great reviews and comes in tons of configurations! It also seems to be "family" friendly in regards to stains and what not. I can appreciate the price point of this one too.

3. Kearney Sectional // I love how comfy this one looks and the reviews are also amazing! Just like the other 2 sofa's I shared, you can customize this one with tons of fabrics and color options. I was looking for a sectional based on the configurations of our living room but really do love this one!

4.LULU & GEORGIA Sectional // This one was also brought up a few times and I can see why! I love the sleek and modern feel of it! Comes in a few different color options and looks crazy comfortable.

5.Plush 4 piece sectional // I was drooling so much over this sofa! I have been so impressed with the selection at Value City Furniture lately! My dining room table is from there, so it was one of the first places I checked for sectionals. This one looks so comfortable and dreamy, but I was a little leary about the light linen fabric color and the ability to clean it. But it's budget friendly if you have your heart set on the cloud sofa from restoration hardware which runs around $6,000.

So.. which one did we choose? You'll have to wait and see!

But I think you guys will really like it;)

Thanks so much for all of your suggestions and help regarding our couch purchase! They really did help and I appreciate you!

Hey babes!

I sure hope ya'll had a great weekend! I can't wait to catch up with you guys soon about our most recent trip to Jamaica, I have so much content planned but it always takes me a few days to get back into the swing of things after doing nothing but sipping red stripe on a hammock for 5 days, ha! today though, I wanted to share the top follower faves from last week as promised. I'm trying to get better about my content schedule instead of being all over the place. Just work with me a little, okay? ;) I know I'm a mess and I'm trying to be better, swear!

This jumpsuit is seriously the COMFIEST ever, the fabric is super soft and I basically feel like I'm wearing pajamas. Perfect for traveling, road trippin' or just running errands! Can be worn now with a cute denim jacket, or later alone with some cute sandals! I never knew if I could pull of a jumpsuit but this one is super cute and flattering on all shapes and sizes, Promise! go down a size in this! It runs a bit big.

Everyone needs a cute basic swimsuit they feel comfy in, especially when chasing babies! I feel comfortable in this one on the beach with the kiddos but also still feel cute vacationing with the hubs because of the cute lace up back. I got a medium in this, the straps are adjustable so you can tighten it if you feel like you need more support, and it's got full booty coverage which I know is super important to most of us! I love it SO much I have it in 3 colors!

oooookay, safe to say ya'll are ready for all the summer vibes! I wore this swimmy a ton on our recent trip and got so many compliments! It's super flattering and the blue color is so cute, I loved it so much I also got the yellow. I got this one in a Medium for reference, the large was just a tad too big in the back area, if you're chestier than a C cup I suggest going up to a large! It runs small!

2. The BEST shorts-(SEEN ABOVE!)

these denim shorts are my new favorites! I now have every color in them! The fit is awesome, shorter in the front and longer in the back! They're not skin tight and are super soft and comfortable denim. I got my normal size 6 but could have sized down to a 4! They run a little big. I can tell I'm going to be wearing them a ton these next few months!

A denim jacket is a MUST have this spring! I prefer the lighter denim shades but have a few in several colors, this one is my current fave and I wore it on travel day last week! This one has some light distressing, and the denim is super soft and comfortable. I got an XS in this one. It runs a tad big!

So that's it beauties! Hope ya'll are having a great Monday and I can't wait to catch up soon!

I honestly feel like I just typed up this post 5 seconds ago. It was really a week ago but seriously, time is flying! I'm honestly NOT mad about it you guys, It's been an eventful week. I didn't get to share nearly all the things I want to with you babes but I promise as soon as I get back from vaca SO MUCH IS COMING. The Wal-Mart haul, more cleaning tutorials and the pantry reno along with TONS of other renovation projects we're starting with the sale of our most recent flip house this month! I am SO excited for changes here at the Scardina Casa and I seriously can't wait to share all the fun things with you!

Moving on, I love sharing the weekly follower faves because it's so much fun to reflect back to what you guys enjoy seeing here at TGF. I know I'm all over the place but I love it because it allows me to be creative in ALL the ways instead of just focusing on one thing. I can't thank you all enough for embracing this side of me! Ya'll are such a blessing! Seriously! But enough with the sappy talk (I'm about a glass of wine in a half in.. don't mind me!) Let's take a look back on the week and check out what ya'll loved!

I honestly can't say enough good things about these oils ya'll! We've been using them here for about 2 years and this set is such a great introduction to some of my favorite oil blends and gives you some insight into how amazingly life changing they can be! this set includes some of my favorite blends including Anxiety Ease, which is being diffused quite a bit here at the Scardina house!

You can read more about how I use oils in this post.

I think this is week..3 or 4? of this vanity tray making the Top 10 list of top sellers! And for good reason! It's so dang cute and functional! I love it so much!

This new cozy Target sweatshirt is amazingly soft, super comfy and perfect for lounging, ya'll know I can NEVER turn away from a comfy sweatshirt and this one is legit.

Ya'll are really into organizing lately which is a good thing cause so am I. I've shared these a few weeks in a row now so I won't bore you with how much I love them, but I mean, if you haven't purchased them yet, what are you waiting for? They're amazing and can literally store ALL THE THINGS.

I'm so glad ya'll are still loving this beach fleece cause SO AM I. It's soooo comfy and the perfect Spring/Summer staple.

SO GLAD to see this sandal on the list as #5 because it's my new favorite! Super comfortable and matches ALL THE THINGS. I highly suggest snagging it if you're looking for a neutral sandal to match everything these upcoming months!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DRESS and so pumped to see ya'll do too! It's such an awesome staple piece, comes in tons of colors and is super affordable! Even better is that it's friendly for shorter girls and it doesn't swallow me.

I shared this dress last week in my (amazon try on haul) and it is SO gorgeous! I am seriously SO impressed! I feel like it would be a gorgeous dress if you have any events coming up to wear!

2. WOVEN BAG (seen above)
This bag is soooo cute for Spring!
It's super well made and I'm so excited to tell ya'll it's on sale for $35! It matches everything and everyone always compliments on it.

For the second week in a row these shorts are the top sellers! I love them so much! They're the best shorts because they're a little shorter in the front with full booty coverage in the back. And yes, THEY'RE ON SALE. ;)  I got my normal size 6 in these but should have sized down to a 4! They run a little big.

Hope you'll are having a great weekend babes! Thank you SO much for stopping in to hang out with me for a bit! It means the world!! XOXO

Weekly Amazon Haul & Swimwear Try On!

Ahhh yes, it's time for what's shaping up to be my most favorite posts of the week!

My weekly Amazon hauls! I'm obsessed with Amazon lately! It's kinda like a weekly "surprise" because with Amazon sometimes things are hit or miss. I got a few things in this haul I was less than happy about, but it's all good because when things are good, they're really good and when things are bad, they're reallllllly bad. It basically balances itself out, ya know?

This week I snagged some goodies for our upcoming trip to the tropics next week. I know, I know, I have a slew of dresses already but theres nothing like when the last minute panic sets in and you start freaking out thinking, "OH MY GOSH I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR." Anyone else like this or just me? So I snagged a few last minute things in hopes that I would just LOVE them!

I'm going to preface this buying saying, I'm not super comfortable posting pictures of myself in swimsuits for the world to see, It just feels sooooo...weird. But at the same time I want to be a good resource for you guys, so I'm putting my insecurities aside and putting it out there.

Would you believe me if I told you that up until about a year or so ago, I NEVER wore one piece swimsuits? Something about them seemed soooo...old, to me. But now I just love them and prefer them! I feel like these days one pieces are way more appealing then they used to be, it's all about finding one that makes you feel good, ya know?

I bought this one in blue for Mexico in January and got so many compliments on it, I know a lot of you babes snagged it too and ROCKED IT!! I highly suggest this one if you're looking for a one piece with something a little "extra"- the booty coverage is minimal on this one, but I don't feel over exposed when wearing it or anything. I loved it so much in blue I also snagged it in yellow

For reference, I got a Medium. I'm a 34C, 128 lbs and 5'2. Normally a size 4 or 6 in American Eagle depending on the type of jean..and the day.

I also have to tell you guys I bought 5 swimsuits total and 2 of the 5 are going back ASAP. However I was SUPER impressed with the ones I ended up LOVING.

THIS ONE might just be my new favorite.

Theres plenty of support and the straps are adjustable and I didn't feel like I was falling out. The lace detailing and vertical striped pattern is really suitable for everyone, but especially shorter gals! It feels like SUCH high quality, I have a few $100 swimsuits and this one is hands down up there with those material and quality wise! Medium booty coverage too! ;)

I really wanted some cute cover-ups because I wear a ton of those on vacation and during the Summer even just hanging out by the pool. So I snagged a few from Amazon that I really just LOVE and they feel like such high quality (even better then the ones I've purchased from resorts for much more money!)

When it comes to accessories- I'm loving hats lately and oddly enough I never really did before! I have a few from Amazon that I love but this one is currently my favorites!

Other things I've snagged on Amazon this week include these amazing dupe earrings for my favorite bauble bar earrings that I always wear! These are much more affordable and great quality! They come in 5 different colors and are under $15 bucks! I love wearing cute earrings with Summer and Spring outfits! My favorite protein powder that doesn't give me headaches and that actually TASTE GOOD! And I finally found one of my favorite jumpsuits back in stock and under $20! (SIZE DOWN IN THIS ONE LADIES!) And these cute sunnies that have 5 star reviews!

So that's it for this week babes! Thank you SO much for stopping by today! I can't tell you how much it means to me to have so many of you take time out of your busy lives to spend with ME. I'm so honored to be surrounded by such amazing uplifting woman! Thank you all for bringing light to my life everyday!

(this post contains affiliate links, meaning I make a super small commission when you click and make a purchase. as always, all opinions and thoughts are my own!)

Okay ya'll,  let's talk tanning.

Oddly enough it is probably the single question I get asked the most on Instagram. "What is your favorite self tanner?"

I remember the first time I got a Spray tan. It was for my wedding in 2011 and I was addicted. Who doesn't love to be tan and give off a "just got back from the tropics" kinda vibe?

However, there are SO MANY self tanning products out there it can be overwhelming on where to start. Do you want a lotion? A foam? A Spray? Let's not even talk about how many brands are out there! What makes them different? Aren't they all the same? What if it turns me orange? What if it's streaky? How long should I leave it on?

So while I am totally not an expert at ANYTHING, well, except for maybe drinking wine and buying throw pillows, I have tried my fair share of self tanning products and have learned a few things along the way. I'm going to try to cram as much information in this post as I can without boring you to death.

Let me first talk about my favorite self tanners at all price points.

My favorite "budget friendly" self tanner is the (Jergens tanning foam) it's my favorite because of the ease of application, it's basically foul proof and it's pretty hard to mess it up. It's great if you don't have much of a tan, are on the paler side, or are completely new to self tanning. The foam is really easy to apply. However, the color payoff is minimal, which some people prefer, and it just doesn't last as long as I would like it too. It also doesn't get me as "tan" as I normally like to be. I've yet to find a drugstore tanner with amazing color payoff but I'm still searching!

As far as "high end" self tanners go, I feel like I've tried so many and I have a list of favorites for different reasons. I really love the st tropez tanning foam as my everyday self tanner, it's the one I ALWAYS go back to, the application is easy, the color payoff is awesome, and it doesn't have a super obvious self tanner smell after application. HOWEVER, this does have some transfer issues so I really do suggest letting it fully dry before application but more on that later...

as far as lotions go, I really do love a good self tanning lotion, I have been using this one for a few years and love it. It's similar to the mouse, application is super easy and the color payoff of this one is AMAZING. Seriously, I'm always impressed when I use it! It lasts a really long time too and I feel like you get a great deep natural looking tan.

When it comes to sprays, there is only one I use, I seriously always have a bottle of this stuff on hand, especially when traveling! It's so easy to apply and great for when you need a quick tan, or for when you're going to an event.

Moving on to the tips portion of this post, which is probably why most of you are here! Tips for Self Tanning!

YOU GUYS. I cannot express enough how important this step is! When you don't exfoliate the tanner will stick to dry patches, especially knees, ankles and elbows. 99% of the time if your tan is blotchy it's probably because you didn't exfoliate. I self tan every Friday so I exfoliate every Thursday at least 24 hours before self tanning. I love this body scurb for exfoliating. It smells like a tropical vaca and makes my skin super smooth and soft without feeling greasy!

Whatever you do you guys, don't skip this step!

Tip #2: Use a tanning mitt ALWAYS and a makeup brush to apply self tanner to hands and feet.

I never ever tan without a mitt, I feel like it really helps the ease of application and prevents blotchiness. For hands and feet I like to "blend" excess tanner in with a makeup brush (I use this one JUST for self tanning) I sort of just drag the excess from my arms and brush it into my hands, ankles, knees. It blends everything together seamlessly.

Tip #3: Apply self tanner in circles

OKAY LOOK. I know that usually the bottle says "long even strokes" but I swear every single time I do that I end up looking like a streaky hot mess, so instead I apply in circular motions to each section of my body working from the neck down, in small sections.

Tip #4: WAIT at least 3 full hours before showering.

EVEN IF you bought the "Express tan" I find showering too quickly always washes off half my tan but waiting allows the tan to fully "set" I know it can b so tempting to want to shower quickly because you feel gross and sticky but if you want a deep, natural tan just wait it out. ALSO. To prolong your tan, try to avoid taking scouring hot showers. I know this is tough ladies, because I like my water surface of the sun hot, but the hot water just breaks things down so much faster. If anything at least avoid taking a super hot shower until at least day 2 of your tan.

THIS. IS. SO. IMPORTANT. Hydrated skin will always retain more product. I like to use a gradual tanning lotion on top of my spray tan to maintain it, I'm loving this one currently. Just be sure to wash your hands after application. ;)

So that's it brozned babes! I hope this helps you with all your self tanning questions although I'm sure I forgot something and will probably come back and edit this later!
Listing my favorite self tanning products for you below! But feel free to leave me a message or shoot me a DM if you have any questions!

Okay, so we leave for Jamaica in less than a week you guys and I am, as usual, freaking out! I just realized the other day that somehow I completely forgot to buy our airline tickets there, I bought them for the way back but not the way there so I don't even know what happened there, ha. So if you're asking how my life is going, that's pretty much it in a nutshell. I'm a mess ya'll!

MOVING ON. One of the things I get asked about a lot before traveling is "What do you pack in your carry on?"

First off, I'm going to be honest and tell you guys I haven't found a suitcase or travel bag I love just yet, I bought one but it got pretty beat up in less than a year so I don't want to recommend it to you guys. However, this one is on my wish list!

Also note that I'm a total over-PACKER! I try my best not to be but it always ends up with me taking 45 outfits for a 5 day trip. This one time I tried not to overpack but ended up wanting everything I didn't pack so - lesson learned. I'll share some packing tips in the future but today I wanted to share a post about what I pack in my carry-on when traveling!

We travel about 5-6 times a year, so I feel like I've learned a good bit about what I need and don't need. I've also learned it's better to have something and be prepared then to not have it at all.

One of the things that has come in handy is this little zip bag that I keep all sorts of emergency medicine in, Pepto, ibuprofen, Dramamine (I get sick from traveling reallllly easily.) and all of these things have come in handy so many times.

My hair tends to get greasy and limp from traveling so I always like to take a (brush) wet brush and some dry shampoo I also never travel without chapstick and my most favorite hand cream!

A portable charger always comes in handy! Some people like to take books or magazines but I can't read on a plane without getting sick so I skip them. I usually just listen to music and try to take naps, which I also suck at, because I can never relax.

It helps to have a comfy neck pillow and travel blanket

Like I said before some people like to take books to read, or crosswords. I just take my tablet and sometimes my planner and a notebook to jot down ideas and notes that always seem to come to me at the most awkward times. It's always good or handy to have something to "look at" though, especially if you have a long flight!

We typically always fly southwest when we can so we do get those little bags of peanuts or pretzels and a drink, however, there is nothing worse for me then feeling sick or yucky and not having anything to eat or drink. I always buy pretzels, mints and water after going through security to take with me on the plane.

A full list of things I pack:
Travel Wallet
Portable Charger
Flint Lint Roller
Hand Cream
Dry Shampoo
Wet Brush
Wisp Toothbrushes

tip: I always like to "Freshen up" as soon as I land wherever we're going! So I like to take these travel toothbrushes and some deodorant into the bathroom so I can feel "normal" again. I'm not sure why but I just always feel so dirty after being on a plane, which I know is totally weird!

I pack all of these things in my favorite (ez packing) packing cubes! These are my favorite packing cubes hands down! They're expensive but they're so worth it over every other set i've purchased they've held up the longest! I love how sturdy they are and how they keep everything together so I don't feel like I'm digging through a bunch of stuff I don't need. I also use these when packing our clothes!

So that's it! A little peek at what I pack in our carry on and 6 things I think everyone should pack in theirs too! I hope it helps you if you're traveling soon or planning to travel soon!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for always being so sweet and supportive! It seriously means THE WORLD to me!!
