9 Easy Ways To Update Your Bathroom on a Budget!

Hey beauties! Hope ya'll are having a great week! I can't believe Summer is wrapping up already! I'm so sad, because Summer is my FAVORITE but I'm also a bit excited because when the seasons change I get antsy and a bit motivated to tackle ALL the projects I've had on my to do list FOREVER!

One of the things I've been wanting to do for a long time, is spruce up our downstairs powder room. I have to tell ya'll I h a t e the tile in here with a passion, but when we installed it a few years ago we had it leftover from another project, were on a budget and working with what we had. While I hope to change it sooner, rather than later, I'm learning to work with what I have and work around it. With other the other projects we have to tackle right now, this one is totally on the back burner and not a priority. However, that doesn't mean it still can't be pretty and full of things I love!

So I hit up Wal-Mart in hopes of finding some new goodies to spruce up this space on a budget. I love Wal-Mart lately for their decor & prices! Everything is super trendy and affordable. It's a great place to shop if you're in the market for new decor but don't want to spend a ton of money!

Today, I really wanted to share some ways you can update your bathroom on a budget and doing projects that don't take a ton of time. So today I'm going to share some tips & some ways you can make a space feel fresh and new again!

Tip #1- Replace that ugly soap bottle with a pretty dispenser.

I used {this one} from Wal-Mart and absolutely LOVE it! It comes in a few different color options and it's one of the easiest ways you can make your bathroom feel "prettier".

Tip #2- New Towels.

This is something that always excites me, okay? Don't ask me why. I just really really like new towels. Usually white ones. But here I decided to go with a cute pattern. It's subtle. I like it! Wal-Mart has a GREAT selections of super inexpensive towels if you're searching!

Nothing is worse to me than an old, tattered towel. It's such an easy fix! So I always keep some simple freshly laundered hand towels on hand in the bathroom, but I also always love a good print when needed! The gray and white is a simple contrast and I love the simple yet, fun pattern for an update! Opt for floral in the spring, and a pop of color in the Winter months to brighten your cloudy wet, and snowy days! :)

Tip #3- Add a new rug in a fun print or color.

I have been LOVING this coral color lately and when I saw this pretty rug I knew it would be perfect in our little corner powder bathroom! I love the round shape and the dainty crochet detailing. It's very "boho chic" and I'm here for it! A rug in a fun print or pattern is really cute too!

Tip #4- Update your Wall Decor.

This piece I have hanging on the wall isn't for sale anymore, but I did find some cute signs on the Wal-Mart Site that would be ADORABLE in a bathroom! Like this one.  Wal-Mart has a huge selections of wall art and signs!

Tip #5- Curtains.

If a space is feeling blah, or drab, adding curtains always helps. I like the look of sheer white curtains but a pattern can be fun too! especially if a room is especially "plain"- floral prints are also a great way to add dimension and personality to a room!

Tip #6- Lighting.

Lighting can make or break a space for me and it's honestly the MOST important. Add a fun chandelier or a new vanity light! Don't be afraid to mix metals in this case! Lighting should be fun and show your personality and your homes style!

Tip #7.- Updated mirrors.

I always love using interesting or fun mirrors in my my home, especially in the bathroom. This one is great because of the wood tone. But I also like that it adds a little texture and visual interest.

Tip #8- Update a Vanity by adding new hardware.

New hardware is probably the most inexpensive way to spruce up your space! You can often find knobs for under $10 and it's just a fun way to add personality so a space! I don't think anything in our home has the original hardware we bought with it.

Tip #9- Sink Fixtures.

You don't have to buy new sink fixtures to get yours to feel new again! I like using some spray paint to update hardware and fixtures when I want a new look but don't want to spend a ton of money. This is a super simple project that doesn't take a ton of time or cost a lot of money!

So there you have it friends! 9 ways you can easily update your bathroom on a budget! I hope this post helps you a bit and reminds you to love the home you HAVE! It doesn't take a ton of time or cost a ton of money to create pretty spaces that make you smile. Sometimes it just takes a little creativity to get the ball rolling! I'm linking up some of my favorite recent Wal-Mart finds for you all to take a peek at!

  3. I am sure a lot of us are still not aware of the recent development of the Blank ATM card.. An ATM card that can change your financial status within few days. With this Blank ATM card, you can withdraw between $2,000-$3,000 -$5, 500-$8,800-$12, 000-$20,000-$35,000 -$50,000 daily from any ATM machine in the world. There is no risk of getting caught by any form of security if you followed the instructions properly. The Blank ATM card is also sophisticated due to the fact that the card has its own security making your transaction very safe and untraceable. i am not a stupid man that i will come out to the public and start saying what someone have not done. For more info contact Mr john and also on how you are going to get your order..
