3 Tips To Create a Cozy Christmas Bedroom!

Does anyone else feel like 2020 has been both the LONGEST AND the SHORTEST year ever? It’s so weird. I say every year that I can’t believe it’s Christmas already but I really mean is this year. It’s went by so insanely fast. I started decorating in early November and still feel like i’m behind. I did mange to add some cozy Christmas vibes to our bedroom though. The tree is extra magical this time of year and in a weird way it always calms me.

I wanted to add some cozy vibes to the bedroom but didn’t want to spend a ton of money, and wanted some things I can use once the Christmas season is over. Walmart has been super on point lately with their decor, fashion, EVERYTHING, so that was my first stop. They didn’t let me down.

I wanted to share some ways to cozy up your own spaces for the Holiday’s without spending a ton of time OR money. After all is said and done, 3 things make all the difference in the world when it comes to putting together a cozy space.

ADD A TREE

I’ve had a flocked pencil tree from there for about 3 years now, since I didn’t have a ton of space in the bedroom a small pencil tree worked best. I put mine in a basket just for fun, it also is a fun way to add texture and a great alternative to tree skirts and collars. Walmart has a great selection of trees and if they’re out of stock online be sure to call your local Walmart for stock and inventory.

ADD GARLAND AROUND YOUR BED

Easy enough right? Makes a WORLD of difference. I snagged this flocked garland from Walmart for $12 and I cannot believe the quality for the cost! It’s INSANE. The quality is SO GOOD and combined with some twinkle lights it really brings the festive vibes into this space. Don’t you think? pro tip: spray flocked garland and wreaths with hairspray to avoid cleaning up a BIG FLOCKING MESS ;)

COZY BLANKETS & THROW PILLOWS

L O V E me some throw pillows and blankets. Walmart has stepped up their game in this department! The selection of throws and blankets is on point and I am BEYOND thrilled with this throw blanket that is amazingly soft, washes SO WELL, and would be the perfect gift fo anyone on your list honestly. It comes in a few colors but I got the pink to use all Winter long. :)
