I hope ya’ll are having a great week so far! I can’t believe it’s almost time for CHRISTMAS, but I’m so ready this year. I can’t wait for all the cozy things! But first, I teamed up with Walmart to bring you my tips and tricks for updating your kiddos spaces for the Holiday Seasons and beyond on a budget.I freaking LOVE the Walmart for all the things, but especially for stuff for the kids and furniture because it’s super affordable and such high quality.

I wanted to freshen up Savi’s space for Halloween and Cozy season so my first stop was Walmart of course, she’s been wanting a bean bag chair for a minute and I’ve been holding off trying to find the perfect one. I’m so happy with this one and so is Sav! We wanted to create a reading space or chill corner for her where she could read, or just hang out in her room. Sometimes Max sneaks up stairs an claims the chair for his own basically thinking it’s a giant dog bed. Often I find Sav sneaking up here to read to the dogs. It’s the cutest dang thing!

i love switching out the book seasonally and I’ll be linking up our favorite Christmas books soon! But for now I’m sharing just a few tips on how you can decorate your kiddos spaces on a budget!

So without further ado, Here are 5 quick and easy ways you can update your kiddos spaces on a budget!

1. NEW BEDDING-

Walmart has. great selection of bedding. (this set is sold out!) but there are still so many other options. It’s the quickest way to spruce up a space for littles, I like sticking with white bedding and then adding in accent blankets as the seasons change. Cheaper, and easier. i also linked Sav’s bed from Walmart here.

2. SEASONAL BOOK SHELVES-

We hung these awesome acrylic bookshelves in Savi’s room and switch it the books seasonally. She always loves the seasonal books and I like draping a garland or lights around to feel festive and fun.

3. CREATE A COZY SPACE-

You can pick a small corner or closet, or wherever to create a small space for your kiddos to hang out, you can use a tent, canopy, bean bag chair, whatever! Get creative! Savanna loves her canopy over her bed and says it makes her feel like a princess but a tent would be super cute too. Keep a basket close by for stuffies so they can snuggle and read!

4. HANG FAIRY LIGHTS-

I freaking LOVE twinkle lights, boy or girl, it doesn’t matter, lights are so cozy and feel so magical no matter what. I’m ordering (this projector) for Christmas for Savi. I drape lights every where, around her bed, around her reading space, etc.

5. A PLUSH RUG-

Rugs are a quick and easy way to update a space and don’t have to cost a ton of money. I love this plush faux fur rug in Savi’s space and linked similar here for ya’ll to check out!
